This second bank of kilns was probably erected by the Minera Lime Company over a number of years with a total of seven kilns finally standing here. They appear to have been abandoned earlier than the first bank and the centre section has had machinery placed on the top which may have been associated with bunkers and loading trains on the adjacent sidings.
